I am relatively new to reading poetry, and am learning to appreciate it. I found Ms. Fargnoli's poems accessible and powerful. The titular poem, in particular, spoke to me. I believe I heard it first in the podcast of Poetry Foundation. I also loved several other poems, including Answers for the Scientists Who Have Wired the Heads of Zebra Finches to Study Their Dreams.

I loved this book, as I love all of Fargnoli's poetry, for its depth and clarity, the way she uses images to delve into mortality, loss, love, and endurance.
