I don't know why but I think this has been my least favorite in the series so far. I guess I wasn't buying the chemistry, it didn't feel palpable like with the other couples. Probably the best part of this book for me was seeing so much of Asher.

Ayri and Vance were fantastic. Vance was a true professional, determined to keep his attraction under wraps. Ayri did everything under the sun, including ‘cheating’ and seeing another therapist so he wouldn’t have to be examined by Vance and hide his own growing attraction. (Even I’m chortling like a middle schooler with that tongue in cheek joke!) When they realize the attraction is mutual, watching them navigate a workplace romance is both super sweet and all kinds of funny because Ayri is totally lovable and delightfully inexperienced. I adored the nod to sports ‘charms’ and the length athletes will go to to not break a good luck streak. These two mesh perfectly with the guys in the Puckboy/QC world, and I can’t wait for what’s to come.
