Ayri Ayri Ayri...you are ferfect!

This ..it just makes me giggle and is so perfectly imperfect and his bumbling words around VInce is kinda cute.

As most of the Queer Collective characters are loud, proud and definitely not shy and awkward its a change to see someone not so forward in getting their man!

And all the broken

I truly enjoyed reading Ayri and Vance’s story, even if this wasn’t my favorite of the series. They were a fun pair and James/Finley always create amazing characters layered with sweet and funny personalities.

Ayri was so freaking adorable you just want to cuddle him and at the same time smack him for being a dork. The big bad hockey player was so self conscious and couldn’t imagine Vance being interested in him. I loved watching him grow in his confidence through the book, even when others got into his head. The scene when he reveals his full name and its meaning had me dying laughing. All I could hear was Kat Williams “Poor little Tink Tink”

Vance had BDE for days. He was so hesitant about involving himself with Ayri, but had this swag about him. I really loved his supportive nature and how he held Ayri up throughout their story. Even when Ayri started getting grumbly, he supported him and the  starting fake fights was the cutest. I loved their hate sex scene I was cracking up.

Clueless Puckboys and was a great addition to the series. I’m excited to continue through all of the rest.

Ari Quinn is just having the worst luck. First he nearly got into a fight with NHL star forward from Boston, Anton Hayes after a drunken night with Anton's now boyfriend Ezra just trying to wallow about his breakup (Puckboys #1), but NOW he's gone an injured his groin muscle (or as his rookie teammate Asher Dalton likes to put it "broke his dick") and to make matters WORSE, the athletic trainer that's working on his injury, Vance, is the one he has a crush on and his body betrays him EVERY time Vance puts his hand on him.

SO in order to avoid the embarrassment of... all that, Quinn decides to try and hide how bad his injury is and avoid seeing Vance as much as possible. Only Quinn makes his injury even worse in the process and now his forced into bed rest until the injury fully heals. And more mortifying than THAT, Vance has volunteered to make sure that Quinn doesn't overexert himself by staying in his house with him while he heals! This forced proximity won't be a problem right? Except that Vance can't stop thinking about his attraction to Quinn but is determined to keep things professional.

The was the first Puckboys book that I ever read and I thought that the premise behind the story was really cute. Quinn and Vance were just 2 awkward dudes dancing around one another until the tension became too much. This has a very rom-commy feel, Quinn and Asher's banter is hilarious and it had a few instances of what felt like slapstick comedy which hit pretty well. However, after reading the other books in this series it doesn't hit as strong as some of the others to me. It's cute and adorable and it might as well be idiots to lovers, but the other books in the series just had a bit more of an impact for me. Quinn and Asher are great additions to the Queer Collective but for me Asher seemed to stand out and over shadow Quinn at times. Still worth the read in my opinion the story is still compelling and sweet it just wasn't as strong as the others.

AUDIO REVIEW

This one was really cute and sweet. Aryi was such a bumbling goof around Vance and I ate that up.

I liked that this one was much lower angst and just a general sweet story with lots of pining.
