Fun book. The characters are silly, but fun. Definitely not the strongest book in the series, but the shenanigans that happen, especially early-book, make it worth it!

Awesome book! Great story about a hockey player hiding his injury and the physical therapist he has a crush on coming to his rescue and saving his season and they fall in love. Very cute, moderately spicy rom-com.

I think that this duo has a knack for writing some really sweet romances. The friend group dynamic is a beacon of light across the series that I truly enjoy.

The real crowning glory in this book was definitely Quinn and Vance (although I think Quinn could do without the mustache). Their chemistry and the push and pull they had at the beginning of the book was a draw. Not to mention how precious Quinn was with his nonsensical stuttering and stammering in front of Vance. I absolutely lived for those moments that were both sweet and rife with humor. The banter was good, the romance was sweet, and the writing and storyline flowed smoothly.

I did have a few things I wish had been more developed. I think I expected more out of the whole "nursemaid" routine when Quinn was injured. I also wish there had been more relationship building as well as something to light a fire in this story. It was well done, but at moments, it could have used more excitement or some force driving the story forward. Overall, this was a fun book--a great palette cleanser, if you will. It is a light, sweet, and low angst book. Plus, hockey. M/M hockey. Who doesn't love that??

I absolutely love my queer collective boys

These two authors together have officially converted me to hockey romance. It’s ridiculous, it’s hilarious and it’s very swoony. Loved it!

"Ayri Quinn skates by, and my gaze follows him. It always follows him.
He’s … the least jocky jock to ever jock.

I loved Ayri Quinn so much!! He was so adorably awkward around Vance and it was so funny. I enjoyed reading about their relationship and how it all started, but it definitely got to the point about halfway through where it felt like pretty much any other book in this series and it's getting harder to remember what each individual book was about because of this. That being said, I'm always a fan of the Collective get-togethers, and Asher has a really great role in this book too!! The conflict wasn't really much of a conflict at all because these two are more lovers than fighters which was great, and overall it was a quick and super fun read!
funny inspiring lighthearted fast-paced

Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

This book was fine the couple was fine I was just soooo bored. I feel like I didn’t learn enough about this couple to care about what happened with them. Quinn and Asher’s friendship really was the highlight of this book for me and ofc all the Collective shenanigans. I did like Quinn and Vance more towards the end of the book though.

I really liked this conclusion to the series, and Vance and Quinn might be one of my favorite couples in this universe. I want to do a reread of some of the interconnecting series that cross with this world.
