It was whatever. I need to stop listening to the audiobooks, I really don’t like the narrator and it’s much more enjoyable to read these stories

Eek. I wish I liked this one better. It just wasn't a favorite. I couldn't get behind the characters or their story. I felt the chemistry was off and they were just put together due to their proximity. Also, because I hadn't listened to or read the other stories in quite some time, I kept forgetting who the other guys were. I had to go refresh my memory with the book synopses for each of them. It took me out of the story quite a few times.
I'm sure I'm in the minority and honestly, I have really enjoyed this series up to this point. This one just didn't keep my interest as well as the others. I also got REALLY tired of hearing about how much of a grump Asher is. Sheesh! We get it.

I loved this book, I read it in one day/night, couldn't put it down. I loved Vance, he's so strong and sweet, and the best for Quinn. And Quinn is so sweet and naive, and perfect for Vance. The chemistry between both is off the charts. Well, a sweet, hot and enjoyable book, best to be read in order within the series as a lot of cameos of characters from previous books, but can be read as a standalone as well.

Ayri Quinn is precious. I loved his friendship with Asher & his willingness to be vulnerable at any time. It was like he couldn't help being 100% honest about his feelings at all times. I must admit, a good amount of my love from this book comes from Asher being such a prominent character. And, of course, seeing the group chats and Collective meet ups makes it fun, too.
Vance and Ayri had such a sweet relationship! So much trust, romance and sweetness. I knew I was going to love Ayri and he definitely did not disappoint. It was so endearing to see him get flustered and tongue tied with Vance & to see Vance react to it in such a cute and funny way.
Asher & Kole will forever be my favorites in this universe, but Ayri and Vance are pretty close to the top.

Pure Vorfreude auf den sechsten Teil der Serie! Vance & Quinn waren derbe cute, aber mein Highlight waren mehr Einblicke in Ashers Rookiejahr
This was a lovely, low-angst, amusing read in the style we’ve come to expect from the authors.
Poor Quinn – I felt for him, especially with the heckling he received for his facial hair and just in general. Add to that his complete and utter inability to use his words when around Vance and he made me laugh far too much. Vance not realising the reason for Quinn’s ‘man reactions’ whenever he worked on him also made me laugh, especially when it became obvious that absolutely everyone else knew what was going on.
I enjoyed this story – I liked the way it played out with everyone being adult about things, no ridiculous misunderstandings and people using their words. Amusing, sexy and fresh, this was a lovely read and an excellent addition to the Puckboy series.
