Another winner in the Puckboys series. Funny, Sweet with no drama. An absolute easy read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Quinn was so adorable being awkward and I loved how he stammered and blushed around Vance. it was something I couldn't imagine a hockey player would do.
Vance and Quinn's relationship developed so naturally, it didn't feel rushed or forced. I had worried about their workplace romance but it resolved perfectly. Vance was so understanding and sweet that had me swooning!

Audiobook — Love this series! Light and fluffy and just perfection - no messiness just hockey vibes.

So charming!!! I love Quinnie and Vance so much they made me laugh so hard. Quinn is ridiculous but so sweet and he never is afraid to show his feelings even if he's a disaster about them. I.e. the fight Superstition lmaoo. Vance is so well put together but funny and he's so so endeared by Quinn. They work so well together esp bc Ayri actually follows Foster's advice of you know communicating lmao. Not as much queer collective as a whole but I got so much excellent Asher Dalton content and I love that man. His friendship with Quinn is really sweet. Shorter and Sweet just the right pick me up for this series.
(Also ANOTHER JAY CAMEO LMAO HES AFTER ME LOL)

Just wasn’t interested in this one like I was the others. I felt like Vance didn’t have much substance to him as a MC. Also the plot was not structured enough and I considered dnf several times.

Well.... I didn't love it. Saxon and Eden's hockey world is my favorite place to be honestly but this book just felt flat to me. I really wasn't a fan of the narration which played a big part in my enjoyment but the story was just lacking something for me too. I felt like it was childish and kind of immature but not in an endearing way. Quinn and Vance were fine but at times I had a problem distinguishing their voices.

I don't really have anything specific to say about the book, I really liked the premise but it wasn't what I was expecting. I wasn't the biggest fan of the romance but I liked it overall I just cannot say I will remember much about the book in a week. But there were a few things I really enjoyed. My favorite was seeing so much of the side characters. Asher is my boy from ages ago and I was so so happy that we got to see so much of him and glimpses of Kole too. The other guys from the Collective were there too and I absolutely loved that. I also appreciated how maturely Vance handled his and Quinn's relationship at their work. I liked it so much that he immediately went to their bosses to let them know about everything.

I didn't love the end or the silly imaginary drama, it felt like they didn't know what to write so they threw Quinn being superstitious into the mix. The whole relationship just felt like they were immediately in love but I didn't really get to see much deeper stuff. So yeah, I liked the book enough and a huge part of that is just the universe itself but we'll see what comes next

3.25 stars. Better than the previous books. Vance and Quinn were cute, but the relationship did feel a bit unequal, with Vance being the older, wiser and more stable one and Quinn being just a bit too young to be a really interesting.

It's quite hard to believe we are up to book 5 of this series. It is fun and laughter from the start, Quinn thinking of as many gross things he can whilst Vance massages his injury.  He is so bashful and it shows his real vulnerability. Vance just oozes control but the reader is privvy to his secret crush too.
It takes till 50% for the first kiss and this is a long time into the story; however, because the attraction has been there from the start it became a story of willpower. The 24 carat willpower from both these men has kept us interested and on edge and the late kiss is forgiven because it was absolutely everything to this story! We knew they would combust the minute they found private time to be together and this never cools, it gets hotter and hotter. Vance is the sounding voice to Quinn's anxiety and together they navigate injury, game losses, headspace and being professional whilst working. We get the fun banter with well known friends that just add their piece to the story. This ends on a HFN but I would bet money there is a  HEA on the horizon. Good news that there is more to come from The Queer Collective. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

3.5 stars rounded up for all the tiny Asher scenes because he is everything to me.

This was really fun and really cute it just didn't stand out as much as some of the others in the series. Ayri is the biggest sweetheart on earth, and his friendship with Ezra and Asher was my favourite thing in this book.

The relationship between Vance and Ayri is super cute. As always with these, it was super low angst and easy to knock out in one sitting. If you're looking for a fast and fluffy read, then this should do the job.
