I'm a big fan of Nina LaCour but expected more from this. The main character isn't very likable and acts like a typical YA boy (aka he's full of tropes and stereotypes). The story is average enough and if you like the author's work, you should read this. But otherwise it's nothing special, just average.

Uh, this was so, so good. Like, way better than I was expecting. It was so easy to connect to each of the characters; the story was so very realistic and relatable. I must admit it had me tearing up at the end >_<
I'd definitely love to read more about these characters, just to see where Colby ends up.

This was a fun coming of age story. Nina’s books all have the same carefree vibe to them and I love them. I feel like they would all make great movies.

This reminds me of the summer after high school. Not the greatest writing in the world but it’s sweet and holds sentimental value in the lessons that the characters learn and the reminder to cherish the even less than perfect moments
