I liked it. Granted, anything would be good after reading The Brilliant Death but I thought this book was a good read. Nothing earth-shattering, and I figured out the little twist early on, but the story was good, the characters likable (although I don't know any parents that nice and patient) and it entertained me. I don't usually ask for more in this kind of book. There seem to be sequel(s) and I am not sure whether they carry this story forward or are just about the same house - but I will probably read another one at some point.

3.5 stars. I read this book following a heavy recommendation by a well-known booktuber. While it gave me all of the cozy feels of the winter season, it got confusing in a few places. For a complete understanding I feel as though I need to re-read the story.
The setting of Green Glass house could not be better. It is a hotel high on a cliff, covered with snow. Multiple unexpected guests arrive during Christmas break. I struggled to keep everything straight, and this is where my reread will come in handy.
Milo is a 12 year old boy who will ultimately help solve a mystery and uncover why the guests have arrived.

Absolutely enjoyable, only it is slow at first up until middle part.

It took 18 MONTHS for me to get this book from my library. I do not know why they only purchased one copy. The waitlist for it was at 56 people, at one time. Do better Phoenix Public Library.
