Really beautiful art with a really beautiful message.

Graphic novel without text. I did not get this book, at all. I am not sure how it would help anyone really understand the Northern Pacific Garbage Gyre.

Umm...ok...
So the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is lonely? The art was pretty in this but honestly this made little to sense and made even less of a point. I think at this point I just need to accept that any and all comics about this particular chunk of ocean trash (which at this point I can think of this and Great Pacific, both of which were...nah) are destined to be not very good. Will I still end up reading the next aquatic garbage comic? Probably.

A compelling mix of fantasy storytelling and cold facts. Great for getting dialog going about the impact our everyday actions have on the world.

First graphic novel I've completed. I do not think I understood the story at all.

Beautifully drawn and very eye-opening. Though I admit I felt sad for the garbage patch, which was not likely the intent.

Loved this graphic novel! I selected this book for The 2020 Reading Women Challenge #3 A Book About The Environment. I selected it because it was created by a woman author. The artistry and story was well done.
