AHHHHH
Holy shit Mommy Makima whyyyyy?!?!?!?!? Okay for real though this one was fucking crazy as hell with an absolute bonkers fight at the end - Aki nooo :( - and with build up that was just a work of art. I used to love Makima just because of how evil she was but this was truly next level villain type shit here.
Also, I've seen a lot of people say the plot is kinda bad and I think this is because of it being so chaotic, fast paced, not explaining a lot, and the fact so many characters come and go. This, however, is what has really drawn me in. It doesn't hold the readers hand and characters that seem important and deep die just as fast as randomly named ones because that's just how this world works, shit, even Aki in this one doesn't truly get some bad ass stand like expected, he just gets turned into the gun devil or whatever and is killed in like three chapters.
This one also really shows Denji, Power, and Aki as characters. While we have seen Aki vulnerable and even a little bit of Power before too, we really haven't seen Denji very vulnerable. Nothing really affects Denji much and so the affect that killing Aki has had on him is just...absolutely destroying my soul!
Also, that ending!!!! FUCK YOU MOMMY MAKIMA YOU BETRAYED ME!!!
