Fantastic art, character design and colour, as well as fun and dynamic paneling and fight scenes. The story was good but not incredibly engaging or deep, and I wish there was more character development (hopefully more will be revealed of Norgal and Agatha's backstory in issues to come). Overall, I would rate this 3.5 stars, and I do plan to read more!

Haven't laughed like that in a long time. Agatha is such a mood

I can't believe the library had this, and am horribly disappointed they don't have more by Andrew MacLean.

The art is freaking fantastic.

A great original new series. Interesting characters, good dialogue, compelling art, and a well-paced story. I'm excited to get on to volume 2.

Updated review: holds up and then some. Even better than the 5-star experience I remembered. The only criticism I can think to give is, sometimes the spreads have subject matter a little obscured by the dead space in the center created by the seam, which is probably exacerbated going from floppy issues to a bound graphic novel.

Great, great volume.
