I'm severely underwhelmed.
The whole thing is based on the idea of (toxic) masculinity, which is exactly what the main character so perfectly represents. And because he is already so perfect (perfect meaning being simultaneously incommunicative, having the agility of a young man, the head of an old wise, and the athletic body of a weathered hero, while his only problem-solving skill is beheading the target and moving on) ...he doesn't learn anything in the end. The main character has no arc. Which makes the whole thing pretty hard to emphasise with.

It doesn't pass the Bechdel test either. And the thing that mostly irked me was the fact that Agatha the Blue isn't even a woman, but a magical object whose features point toward anti-semitic representation. Long story short, the whole book is based on a lot of myths that the author is probably not aware of... I'd recommend reading something else.
