Now I generally enjoy a foursome relationship book, so maybe I am just not very into books that are pretty much all spice and no plot.

Like yes did each individual character have a little background and things to work through? I mean kind of but not really.

Just wasn't my favorite but it will be someone else's so don't let this deter you!

please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
HEA: yes with bonus epilogues by signing up for her newsletter!
POV: multi 1st person POV (Briar, Rhys, Gavin, Hollis)
spice: several open-door spicy scenes
TWs: cheating, catnapping (LOL), left at the altar, divorce, parental abandonment, death of a sibling, chronic illness (cystic fibrosis), death of a parent
standalone: book 4 in the My Hockey Romance series (interconnected standalones)
final thoughts: one of the best things about a why choose romance is the FMC having different personality types in her MMCs. This book brings that front-and-center by having Briar use qualities and personality traits from all 3 leading men to write a column about what makes the perfect boyfriend. I laughed, I cried, I swooned- I loved every minute of this book and really loved each of the MCs.
Brair was a great FMC- confident, friendly, driven, and a great friend
Rhys is the lovable cheeky British boyfriend who has been unluckily in love and isn’t looking for romance, until he realizes he might have a shot with his friend and yoga teacher, Briar.
Gavin is the broody boyfriend who isn’t sure where he fits in but is willing to learn as he goes and give some direction along the way.
Hollis is the prefect golden retriever boyfriend who helps Briar lower her defenses and keeps her head leveled when she’s feeling overwhelmed.
Combined, these guys show Briar what she deserves in a boyfriend all while woo-ing her and showing her that their happily ever after can last beyond the week.

Happy Release Day!

Why Choose X Hockey.. well sign me right the heck up!

Oh my god, this was so fun!! I absolutely devoured this book. I listened to the audio in one day. I was immediately sucked into the story from the get go. Briar is such a likable character. She is such a great strong independent women that wants to just pave her own way. I love that in my FMC.

Can we take a second to talk about the guys though. I don't think that I can pick a favorite. They were all equally lovable in different ways. I loved the way that they fully supper Briar in everything that she wanted to do and did not make her feel bad about it. They were so attentive and just so awesome.

I had the privlege of listening to an ALC of this book and LET ME TELL YOU. The audio is the way to go with this book. I don't think that I have ever listening to a RH book with a full cast. It truly made the whole book come alive. Especially the spicy scenes
adventurous emotional funny hopeful lighthearted

Well and Truly Pucked is the fourth book in the My Hockey Romance series of interconnected standalone stories. Lauren Blakely has done it again. This story is SO good! Lauren brought the heat, and I loved every second of it.

Briar is thrown out by her toxic ex. While executing her simple post-breakup plan, she ends up sharing a vacation rental with three completely different but equally dreamy hockey players. Gavin is broody and more reserved, Rhys is the cheeky Brit, and Hollis is flirty and easygoing.

Having never really experienced true satisfaction in the romance department, the guys agree to give her a week of no-strings-attached romance lessons. The goal is to show her how a great boyfriend should treat her. As they spend time together and become more open, this week-long arrangement becomes much more.

Well and Truly Pucked is so fun to read. I loved all of the characters in this story. Briar is fun, feisty, smart, and a sweetheart. I enjoyed witnessing her growth and the realization that she deserved more. I instantly fell in love with Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin. They are so different but work well together while giving Briar what she needs.

I loved how they put her needs first, communicated well, and were completely comfortable with vulnerability. The banter, tension, chemistry, and heat are perfect! I also loved the friendships between the guys and how they truly considered each other family. Hollis, Rhys, and Gavin are the perfect book boyfriends.

🎧𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
The audiobook features a full cast of all-stars. Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton knocked this one out of the park. I am a huge fan of their work, and this performance was perfect! Everything was so good and flowed well. They did well with the characters' personalities and really brought them to life. I was fully immersed in their world and could feel the chemistry.
