funny hopeful lighthearted slow-paced

This genuinely sucked. The writing was crunchy and hard to listen to. The voice actors were great but they couldn’t help the writing

i really loved this series and all the books in it! i just don’t think this one was my absolute favorite. there were too many people not actually fully talking about their lives. i get it, the whole point was for the three of them to teach her how a good boyfriend treats you, but they are all still individuals. it was all really sped up. i think maybe spending less time talking about nonsense and more time spent going through the each day and kind of each person would have made it more enjoyable. i still really liked the book! it was exactly what a spicy rom com is supposed to be, i guess i was just hoping for more.

Well and Truly Pucked is the 4th book in the My Hockey Romance series. Briar, Rhys, Corbyn Hollis Buchard and Gavin Worthy. The 3 guys play for the Golden State Foxes. Briar works for the rival team the Sea Dogs.

Briar's boyfriend cheats on her and Briar has also never had the big “O” with a man and man oh man, this book is on fire! It was great to read their story while Briar went after the thing that she was missing! We also got to see the vulnerable side of the men too.

Ms. Blakely had me laughing from the very beginning. I also loved the names that Briar had given for her pets, a dog and a cat!

I know that this book is a work of fiction, but wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a world accepting of the kind of relationship that this foursome creates?

If you can’t tell I loved reading Well and Truly Pucked! 5 feel good STARS!

Bring on all the burly hockey players and that Lauren Blakely steam! This is loads of fun, full of spice, but also has some great sweetness to it too. Our heroine Briar is on the most epic of revenge vacations- rebounding with three very yummy hockey players who each, in their own way, gives her some lessons in romance. Of course, what is mean to be holiday fling with some revenge flair turns into something more. real feelings, real challenges, and potential complications. But along the way we see a heroine recovering, finding her power and her worthiness...while also find a romance so very delicious and unexpected with more than one yummy hockey heartthrob.

Never met people with less chemistry

I got kinda sick of this series. They’re very recipe-based. If you’ve read one, you’ve read them all

Briar comes home from an event to find out her relationship is over, and her crappy ex is trying to regift her cat to the new girlfriend. In true “why not fashion” she goes on a balcony climbing rescue mission.

Enter 3 hockey hotties - Hollis, Rhys, & Gavin to make the mission successful. A series of unfortunate, or rather fortunate, events lead to forced proximity and the secret of Briar never having an O provided by someone else.

Lauren delivers, yet again, with plot and spice. It is more romcom than hockey focused... but I am NOT complaining.

Samantha Brentmoor, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, and Teddy Hamilton absolutely brought it with this performance.
