it was so boring and i was just glimpsing towards the end. idk why i gave this book a chance after my other reviews…
Thanks so much to Lauren Blakely and Good Girls PR for the eARC!
I had a fun time. This is a good pallete cleanser between the dark romances and fantasy books I read!
It's a cute romcom and spicy!
I liked all of the characters, I thought they were funny and wish men were like this in real life!

Who needs one boyfriend when you can have three? well, at least for the week.
First of all, this book had me at the first chapter title, "He Stole My Cat". Caught me Hook, Line, and Sinker. However it was Hollis’ easy-going humor, or was it Rhys’s British charm? Nope, it was definitely Gavin’s grump that keeps me coming back for more. But, seriously, I don’t have to choose! I loved them all.
Briar finds herself in quite the predicament when she learns her ex-boyfriend has moved her out and someone new in while she was away, but that doesn’t deter the feisty, independent woman she is. Ever quick on her feet, she makes arrangements to head to a festival earlier and rents a quaint cottage. Only one problem: that same cottage was also rented by three gloriously hot hockey men who play for the rival team. But seeing as they are all adults and friends, they decided to share.
Briar then gets wind of a contest put on by her ex’s man blog, “How to Be a Good Boyfriend.”. Well, this is where the spice is slicing. These three men show her the meaning of the word both in and out of the bedroom. However, in the process, they help her find herself. Briar, like any good girlfriend, helps each of these men accept themselves because she is their sunshine.
This is the fourth book in the series, and I am sad to see it end.

Nope. Just no. I’m not sure what happened with this book but it was not for me. I almost dnf’d. But I hate doing that so I skimmed the last 20%. This book is total opposite of the last three books in the series. Super disappointed.

It's not often that I rate a smutty romance novel 5-stars but here we are, folks!
I was enthralled in Briar's story from the start, and read this book cover to cover in about six hours. It was a bright spot on a rainy, gray day I spent in bed with Covid. Thank you Lauren Blakely for the reading entertainment!
Every single character was lovable, goofy, and wholesome (okay, well, as wholesome as you can get in a why choose smutty romance novel). The story was layered and I found myself just as interested and engaged in the plot as I did... the rest of it. The banter was 10/10. I was giggling and kicking my feet multiple times. The ending! What's not to love?

A fun time, easy read why choose hockey romance.
Briar has broken up with her boyfriend and he’s moved straight on and moved another girl straight in, he’s even published an article about how he never connected with her ex etc.
3 hot ice hockey players help show her what a really good boyfriend would do and boy do they do it well ❤️
