A light, hot read. I would recommend this for the beach, but you might want to read this where you have access to your partner, or a battery operated assistive device. I really enjoyed the mix of tropes in this one, and the fact that there wasn't a third act break up.

Oh my word.. this book! I’m a big fan of Lauren Blakely, and an even bigger fan of her hockey books. I love hockey, and hockey romances… and having it written by a favorite author is even better!! These characters are great! I enjoyed them very much and their storyline is interesting and fun.

Briar is a yoga instructor for a hockey team, and she’s good at it. She’s just out of a relationship that ended badly. And Rhys, Gavin and Hollis help her retrieve her cat that the ex “gave” to his new girlfriend.

Rhys, Gavin, and Hollis are hockey players. For the other team, the Foxes, and they have taken Briar’s yoga class. When they see her trying to climb onto the balcony of the apartment where she was living… they intervene and assist her with retrieving her cat.

When they are mistakenly booked at the same cabin for a festival, they spend a lot of time together. Hollis and Briar have the first night alone in the cabin, and they talk and realize they are attracted to one another.. and.. well, you need to read it to find out more. I am not going to spoil this for anyone. It’s too good of a read. So, my advice is.. read the book!! Find out for yourself, and then write a review and give your own opinion. If you like it.. share it.

I didn't feel the chemistry between these characters the way I did in the precious books in this series. It felt too rushed to really get to know them each well, and they fell in love to quickly. But the spice was spicing!
