Lauren Blakely stepped it up in book #4 with not a throuple, but a foursome! I liked the characters and the premise of "how to be a good boyfriend", but I felt this book wasn't as good as the others in the series. It starts with the same premise of a tragic breakup and parts of the story were filler.

I am so sad that this is the end of this why choose hockey series. I read the first one last year and fell in love with the characters and Lauren's writing style. I am for sure going to read more of her books (where to start, her backlist is so long!!).
There were so many good things about this book! The characters were so much fun and made me laugh many times. The spicy scenes were amazing, and I loved getting to see how each of the guys approached those moments in their own ways. As a hockey fan, I loved the hockey content.
I loved seeing Briar's confidence grow throughout the books as the guys helped her feel more comfortable both inside and outside the bedroom. It's such a common issue for people to be in the wrong relationship and not even realize it because that's all they know. And everyone deserves to find the person (or three) who fully accepts them and cherishes them for who they are.
