Super fun and cute but my god. Obviously the book focuses on Marceline and PB the most, but who do you think gets the third most screen time? Is it BMO or Treetrunks, the familiar characters? Is it the hilarious drummer ghost or the badass vampire guitarist (I didn’t even know there were any vampires left besides Marceline!!!)? No my friends, it’s the Guy, literally known as the Guy because he’s just a boring, normal dude. Stop WASTING MY TIME.

Anything Adventure Time is worth a read, and that goes double when MARCELINE is the star! As a side note, I think it is REALLY cool how many women worked on this book (and on this series in general). Yay Adventure Time for promoting awesome lady artists.

I won't write a huge review on this one, I'm a huge fan of Adventure Time, but I find it kind of hard to review something that... well, I'm not really the target audience for. Yes, the show caters to a diverse age-range, it's appealing to younger viewers, while still full of issues and themes that resonate with an older audience, like myself (NOT THAT I'M OLD, I'M IN MY 20s, C'MON). But I felt like this comic series was more targeted towards Adventure Time's younger viewers, and there's nothing wrong with that! It has a great message and classic characters and was generally enjoyable.

One thing that was missing though... that I was really hoping for, was more subtle innuendos alluding to Princess Bubblegum and Marceline's attraction. GAY IT UP, KIDS CAN HANDLE IT, AND WHEN I WAS KID I WOULD'VE KILLED FOR SOME MORE REPRESENTATION. Otherwise, a cute little series that's a great introduction for kids into the world of comics and graphic novels.

If you're a fan of Marceline and Princess Bubblegum, like me, I'm sure you like this. It's got the same dynamic and jokes from the show. Although I have to say I would have liked it more if it were actually in the show because then I could hear all the songs!

The comics that came after every chapter were kind of interrupting the flow of the story. It would have been a nicer read if the extra comics were all at the end (like in the Adventure Time with Fionna and Cake comic).
The story itsself is rad. It's just about Marceline and her band touring while Princess Bubblegum comes with them. This comic was a nice character study on Marceline. The ever confident Vampire Queen really has to find herself on the tour. I don't think the story is very special, but I honestely wasn't expecting that. This comic is just a really nice bonus if you're a fan of the show.
I would've given it three stars but there's also a scene where Marceline's dad comes to the show and then there's LSP being in this one. It helps that Marceline is one of my favorites. If not.. you won't like this.

While this was enjoyable to read, I didn't feel that this was as engaging or in character as the original Adventure Time comics. However, I did enjoy the little shorts that were interspersed throughout the book done by other artists. They were quite enjoyable and I had a good chuckle at some of them.

Marceline's band, the Scream Queens, is about to go on tour! But will Princess Bubblegum help or hinder as their manager? And is it really a good idea to leave Jake in charge of the Candy Kingdom? Can Marceline handle a little bit of negative feedback? What kinds of secrets is the band hiding?

Features the Scream Queens' tour as the main plot with a couple other side-stories thrown in revolving around other characters from the TV show 'Adventure Time.' It was nice to see another side of PB for a change.

4 stars. 1 star minus for Marcelines ridiculous teenager problems.

I'm not the biggest fan of Adventure Time out there (haven't seen very much of it yet), but I really liked these comics since it gave me a look into characters I haven't seen very much of in what I've watched.
