This definitely not like Nichole’s recent works but it is still oozing with her signature swoony romance. That girl can write epic love stories. If you want a change from the norm then pick up this one.

What an original plot! So freaking good. Fated lovers, grumpy sunshine, dual pov with past and future! This one I read because a friend recommended it! It was the best recommendation I’ve had in a long time!! 4.5/5

This was pretty good. It did get a little mushy for me but I liked the looks into old lives.

Even with some of its issues, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book. Though I can't say I loved every second, I found it to be original and creative. Recently I've had a hard time finding books that keep my attention, so I found this refreshing.

A great read!

I enjoyed this so much. I didn't want to put it down. The history, the intrigue, the art, the location, the romance. All come together to make a wonderful story that hooks you and keeps you coming back for more.

I loved Dante and Claire. Dante is the hunky gentleman we all want in our lives to give us wonderful hugs and invade our personal space. Claire is broken and lonely, but, with Dante's help, learns to open up, feel love, and give love back. And wow, does Nichole Van know how to write a romance! There is no lusty talk of the bedroom and kissing doesn't happen until way into the book, but it's still so romantic and swoony. Holding hands, invading person space, engulfing hugs. Man, it just made me smile and feel the love and care jump off the page.

And meeting all the D'Angelo brothers and the family made me excited for the next books.

Well, that one was filled to the brim with nearly all of the romance tropes. Fortunately for the reader they are just a teeny bit torn apart and expertly woven together anew. So the eyrolling level is kept to a minimum. The third protagonist is the city of Florence, so it felt like a much needed vacation in the midst of the current covid pandemic.

I had mixed feelings about this book, initially.

I liked it much better the second time around.
Maybe because more of the overlying mystery is being revealed with each book.

I sped through this book. I honestly was unsure if I would like it, even though I like the book zero of the series. But this one left me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Without any spoilers, I was completely thrown at the end and cried throughout the book. I really liked the idea of using reincarnation and soulmates for a romance, with just enough excitement to hook you and keep you turning pages.
