This felt like a .5 book, an in between book. Not much happened towards the plot and to much time with the wrong ship.
I think this book could have been half its size and have the same plot progress.

I know this is like a huge Sirius book but the moments we got with Sokeefe were so good

This definitely suffered a bit from middle book syndrome. Lol. But I still enjoyed it. There just wasn’t too much going on. Lots and lots of time in the hospital and leveling their powers/skills up basically. It felt like Shannon was just trying to rush character development and connect certain smaller dots so that she could get back to the main action of the series’ plot line. Hopefully the next book will pick back up.

I think it was one of the less enjoyable books in KOTLC but I'm definitely looking forward to the next book
