So I didn’t know this was a nonfiction and thought it was a fictional true crime story. However, the author did a great job making sure I didn’t really recognize the non fiction feel. this book follows a story behind NYPD who are double agents for the mafia. The story was a bit difficult to read but also very interesting where I didn’t want to give up. It shows the ins and outs of the police force and also the mafia which I liked.

You can tell the author did great research on this book because it was well descriptive and written. I do have to say that there were way too many names which made the story overwhelming at times but overall this is a great book tha many should check out.

I had the opportunity to read this book thanks to a good read’s giveaway.

This was a dnf for me. I was a hundred pages in and I had no idea still who anyone one. There are so many different people involved that I just couldn’t keep it straight despite the story being ultimately interesting. If someone is already aware or some of the big names during this period, I can definitely see them enjoying this book.
