Solid novella, but it ended up feeling somewhat repetitive at the end. I think this was a good little covid related book. I loved the start of this book a lot. I was chuckling and eating it up. I also appreciated how Ira didn't want to date Naomi when she was 21 and still in undergrad - after all the age gap books I kept starting with men lusting after 16/17 year olds, that felt really reassuring.

If you are ready for a poignant and so sexy romance, and are okay with the pandemic being a (small) part of the story, this novella is SO GOOD.
My favorite quote? "For her, he brought out the chaise."

I’ve previously avoided all romances involving the Covid pandemic, for my own mental health and because I read to escape real-life stressors, but I felt like this one handled the pandemic in a respectful way and didn’t romanticize it.
I absolutely loved that the heroine was 31 and still struggling to figure out what she was doing with her life, especially with a pandemic throwing her into unemployment We need to normalize the idea that just because you’re not in your 20s, doesn’t mean you have a set career or clear path in life. I also just want more age gaps with women in their 30s in general, so this was a win win for me! And the spicy parts were
