This was such silly fun! Coming in at 123 pages, this novella was a brilliant cleanser Nothing too serious - a mystery with comical and unhinged twists throughout, which I really enjoyed!
I saw my friend @bookishbrighton describe this as ‘The Scary Movie of Thriller Books’ and this is the PERFECT description. There’s comical character names (DI Mancini), ridiculous twists that made me laugh during my train journey, and it’s the perfect piss-take of thriller troupes.
It’s unhinged and the perfect company for an evening-in or on a short journey. Bravo Freida - I loved your humour in this. MORE please!!!!
