Incredibly boring. Unnecessarily long. Loads of sexual assault on women that adds nothing to the plot and doesn't build the world out in any way whatsoever.

So I started reading this and couldn't get into it so I brought the audio book. It felt like a love letter to women and something to draw attention to women and their lives and struggles.

<Spoiler> The ending was kind of anti-climatic which I my only draw back of the entire book, however I understand the ending and why it needed to be that way. I would have liked a bit more explaining about Evie and who she was and who sent her. <Spoiler>

This was an okay read but to be honest it wasn't the best to read whilst in a pandemic with a virus.

I was expecting some sort of horror element from this but it only mentioned what the women did when someone woke them up as a horror element. This wasn't scary for me and in some parts I was quite bored as it went into detail in parts that really didn't need that.

I would've preferred it if this was more horrifying and I don't see myself reading this again as I don't see how it's really the worth the read.
