This was an incredibly interesting book. Ronson explores a lot of different perspectives throughout this book and tries to let the various extremists explain themselves in their own words. Ronson doesn't sensationalise them and is honest about the conclusions he draws from speaking to these individuals.

The book is a great bit of journalism. It is humorous, well-written, but most of all - it's keeps people and humanity at the center of the story. I think anyone who's interested (and has seen Alex Jones talk about Bohemian Grove), should take a look at this book.

3.5-to-4, since the different segments/topics are varyingly in-depth. I found this really interesting, and feel a little guilty for feeling like there was something missing in some of the shorter chapters. Ronson is obviously really gutsy in the way he goes about somehow gaining access to people and places who ordinarily refuse it, and situations where he could conceivably be in a fair amount of danger... so it seems unfair to then say "boo, there wasn't enough detail about [crazy thing that included interviews & personal anecdotes]." But sometimes, there wasn't enough! Still: a quick & interesting read that I found myself recommending to a bunch of people as I neared the end.

This book is great if you just want to read about the Madness of some people. It's a quick read and I have already mentioned it to people to read.
