i watched the first season of the show before reading the book and i was just saying "bro doesnt know anything" the entire time. very enjoyable but wouldn't recommend to someone who reads short chapters. good intro to manwha

it's a lot and it's all rather slow. it's a lot of world building, of stories and myths and gods and my issue was that it was just a lot in the beginning and you had to memorize everything. i do however enjoy following xie lian and that he is seemingly the ceo of cringefail. this book is a great set up for the rest of the series and if every other book follows a similar pacing, ill definitely enjoy the full series! this is just a cute little introduction and i am going to order the rest of the books now
