This was a deeply disappointing pile of crap. I was a huge fan of Less Than Zero and this was a sad follow up. He took some of the same characters, wrote about nothing and then turned it into American Psycho. The only thing I enjoyed was the stuff at the beginning talking about the characters reactions to the movie - I always though the movie was a pathetic adaptation so this was fulfilling in that regard.

i'll have to read it again to get a real grip on how i felt, but even though it's unfortunately short (although, that fits the story), it's pretty damn good. the last 25 pages are a kicker.

the most pointless sequel i’ve ever read. found it slightly more interesting than the first until the rape scenes kicked in near the end. insane that a white gay man uses misogyny as shock value when it’s the most predictable thing for them to do
