I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! I thought it was gonna be trashy romance but it was actually a highly entertaining urban fantasy with slow burn romance. And it was funny at times!

The prose doesn't always flow well,  and character descriptions are odd at times. It takes a while for the plot to start moving.

Easily consumed in less than 24 hours, much to the disappointment of the pile of laundry in my room. Everything about this urban fantasy feels so unique and real, with a delicious slow burn and a "not like other girls" heroine who is actually really likable. Immediately compelled to pick up the second one
