I strongly approve of people criticising terrible science, especially when it's social science, which is 99% bullshit anyway. And this fella does a good job of it.
As with a lot of things, it's tempting to just throw your hands up and go, well, it's all corrupt, we can't know anything, but that's exactly the wrong message. If some complacency has crept in... Well, quite a lot of it actually, it's fine for a housecleaning, but the basic method is sound and he gives some constructive suggestions for how to prevent future slippages.

I feel like the fact that the major reason for fraud in science is capitalism was majorly overlooked. Good otherwise

Great book. Similar to Chris Chambers 7 deadly sins book but wider in scope.

Pleasantly surprised by how often the phrase "salami slicing" appears

I will probably get a copy of this book to annotate. It felt very informative and yet still had some good humor about the scientific community.
