Had to read this for class. This was one of my favorite books yet that I’ve had to read for school along with 1984.

I've hears infamous tales of Bradbury's writing- and people stopping and starting it relentlessly just trying to get through the book- but I wanted to try for myself anyway and was pleasently surprised with how much I was enjoying it! So much so that I finished it in under a week which is not something I've done in quite a while! (But a trajectory I'm hoping to keep)
The plot is dark, the world is grim, but I found myself enveloped in it nontheless. I loved Bradbury's prose throughout the book, and the illustrations that he brought to the page through genius analogy. My favorite part was seeing Montag's inner workings of his head, how he thinks and how his thoughts change are are effected throughout the story, taking him from burning books to saving them.
Never read this in school, but maybe it was better this way- because I certainly enjoyed it at this moment in life

Oh my goodness. Had to stop listening to this. I seriously did not like it at all. Gone into the DNF pile.
