Listened while on a road trip. Lots of description which worked well for audio. Enjoyed the humor that tended to the sarcastic. Seemed to have quite a bit of sex. This story concerned rich people, the porno world and twins or was it triplets? Sometimes the psychological stuff could be disturbing. The story held our interest and the drive flew by.

Gah. This story was really shaping up to be something interesting - and then I hit the last 75 pages. On the up side, I now have a space in my bookshelf for one of the members of Mount TBR.

Liked this one the best so far of the 4 Alex Delaware novels. The author fleshed out Dr. Delaware’s character and added a human side.

This mystery has more twists and turns than a foot-long corkscrew and that at times is not a good thing, although overall the story is good and the mystery unique. It also stretches the believability factor just a bit into unbelievable this time around.

Alex wanders into a mystery and trail of crime and bucket of mental cesspools after a run-in with a past flame who then dies soon after. He begins looking into her death and her past to ease his guilt and curiosity and falls into a pit of wealthy but narcissistic people who have no conscience. The deeper he digs the more confusing and tangled things get. Things are only semi cleared up by the end.

I stopped and restarted this book multiple times. Too scientific. Didn't grab me like some of his other ones have. Not sure if I will read anymore of his.
