I feel like the more books the better. This one by far was my favorite. We got to see Zeth more in action. Can I just say that W.O.W what a twisted book. I loved the action, the surprises, the different twists, and DUH Zeth. We know understand why he is the way he is. We might not know all of it but we know enough. I honestly hated Pipi I know where she's coming from but it was wrong. Overall, loved it.

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of Callie Hart and the Blood & Roses series; I’m not sure I could tell you why in particular... Well no actually I can. It’s the writing; it’s the characters, it’s the plot; the main story and the equally as interesting sub plots that also draw you in. It’s the pace, the action and the all important romance that make this series a winner for me.
In this edition the title could not be more fitting, in some ways things have never been clearer with some truths that have been acknowledged but in the same breath things also turn for the worst. I found some of the truths hard to swallow and my understanding of events muddied.
"When I'm with you I'm not the scared girl I used to be. You challenge me every single day. I don't want to give that up. I don't ever want to give you up."
Twisted is: Sloane’s life as she had once known it; the mundane normality, the straight path she had once saw herself on and the increasingly slim chance of ever going back.
Twisted is: Zeth’s previous (somewhat) uncomplicated life, his lack of consequence in his actions and giving in to his bases urges.
Twisted is: Lacey’s marred innocence, her fear of being alone and unloved.
I acknowledge I’m being deliberately vague, as incredibly lucky and excited as I am to have received an Advanced Reader Copy I also don’t want to ruin its impact for others; and as hard as it is to restrain my inner Fangirl, and worship at the alter of Zeth, I will. It’s genuinely a good story I’d recommend to Deviant Diva’s and Newbies alike.
From the first book I’ve had questions, which have now answered and the declarations I’ve been desperate for, made. I’m ecstatic and shocked at the same time. Some scenes were pure elation and others heart-wrenching and if anything it’s testament to the intricate story Callie has woven. I think I said in my last review that ‘Fallen’ was the best part yet but I’m going to have to renege on that statement and say emotionally at least ‘Twisted’ takes its place.
The story in no way ends here, if anything it’s even more interesting and the nervous wreck in me is anxious. I remember thinking once that 6/7 parts to the story may be a bit much but it’s not even close to being enough. I can’t even begin to think about the wait for the next instalment.

Hhmm yeah, I want some of that!!
This book grabbed my attention from the first page to the very last. Dear lord, Callie is a freaking genius, and every single book in this series is amazing and this last one is no different. My favorite thing about this series, we get a bit of everything. The story is action packed, suspenseful and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love that the pace of the story is not rushed, and the characters are amazing. They grow in each book and you see them changing into the people they are meant to be.
Zeth, my God, I thought I couldn't love this man anymore, but boy was I wrong. He keeps surprising us, time and time again. He has changed so much from the big bad wolf we met in book one and at the same time he remains true to his character. Sloane is such a strong character. I love that she doesn't take sh** from anyone and she owns who she is. These two characters were meant to be together, I see that clearly with every new book in this series. Their chemistry is off the charts, and it makes for some very steamy scenes, "shower scene" anyone?? Holy moly, that was intense!!
I also love the supporting characters in this story. And when sh** hits the fan we know who are the real true friends and who can be trusted. I liked that we got to see a bit more into Michael's head. He is very loyal and I love that about him. A lot of questions were answered in this one. Now of course we have more questions, but that's what makes this series so amazing, it keeps you entertained and wanting more. The way Callie writes these characters, it makes you feel connected to them and to relate to their feelings and actions.
There is not a lot I can say without giving spoilers so I'll leave it at this, you need to read this book!! If you haven't started this series do yourself a favor and move it up your TBR list, you really want to meet Zeth and the rest of the clan. AND book one it's free, so go ahead and give it a try, promise you will love it. Thanks Callie for writing these amazing stories and I can't wait for the rest of Zeth and Sloane's story. I know things have just started getting better and can't wait to experience the rest of this rollercoaster ride called "Blood and Roses". Get one-clicking peeps!!
Now the story is really coming together. All the pieces are finally falling in place and setting everything up for a whopper of a final book.
It took me a little bit but I remember now having read the first book about rebel not realizing it was interconnected until backstory about them clicked.
Great solid story filled with likable characters, action, and suspense.
