I came upon this book by accident when searching for new reads and I’m glad I did! I haven’t read a Victorian fantasy in a bit, but truly enjoyed how the author created this world for the characters to exist. Elsie is just a delight to read and as the story takes off you feel her sense of injustice and determination to set things right! Secrets, secret society, and magical injustice afoot all over London and it’s outlying cities is just not done! Elsie gets entangled with Elite Magician named Mr Bacchus Kelsey, and her life depends on his silence-will he keep quiet? Or not? Pick up the novel to figure it out! I look forward to seeing how this story ends!
