I loved A Simple Favor by Darcey Bell so was super excited to read All I Want. In all honesty this could of been a great read, but the last chapter completely ruined it for me. So I recommend you read the book leaving out the final chapter. It was a solid fast paced book. It has a creepy atmosphere and I did enjoy the plot even though it was a little far fetched. I also felt the main character was way too naive for a grown women.
In the book we follow Emma, the main character as she and her husband buy an abandoned victorian mansion in the country. The house has a dark and questionable past. Emma stays at the house as its being renovated and seems to be taking the lead on decisions along with the handy man even though she is pregnant. Her husband only seems to make time for the house and renovations on the weekends, while spending the weeks in the city at their apartment and focusing on the play he is directing. I don't want to go into much more details than that, without giving the whole plot away.
