It has been a while since I read a Kay Scarpetta book (since number 17) and I really enjoyed it. It was different with the talk of UAC, OZ, yellow brick road, covid times, an old love of Kay being murdered, weird/supernatural things going on, etc. I thought it was a nice change of pace to a forensic series that has been going on for some time. I was able to piece together what I had missed and enjoyed the book quite a bit
