A bit slow to start but really picks up about halfway through. I enjoyed the characters a lot! The last 20 pages or so didn’t go the direction I thought they would, and I was a bit disappointed at how things ultimately ended.

The story's good, but it's poorly written

A lot of originality here when it came to word building, character development, and representation, which I loved. The queer representation was authentic, nuanced, and well executed. I wouldn't say the plot was lackluster, but it didn't fully suck me in either. Happy I read it, though, and really appreciate how the author wrote something that felt fresh, unlike anything I've read before.
