Sorry, I can't see through my tears to write a review. I haven't cried while reading a novel in a long time.

DNF 44% The miscarriage/stillbirth content is just to visceral and raw for someone who’s experienced it. I hate, hate when authors use infant loss as a tool for literary drama and tension. (Especially as this seems like a theme for Kristin Hannah who also indulged in “stillbirth drama” in Four Winds.)

What a special book. I think this I’d place this comfortably in my top 5 reads of all time. The nostalgia, the relationship between Tully and Kate, the love story and the humour as well as the emotions that I felt during this read made it a 5 star for me. Have the Kleenex handy.
