Enjoyable book that taught me many things i didnt know before. One thing I couldn’t ignore, although florence does acknowledge this throughout the book, was the fact that she speaks on topics that she does not have experience with, for example she discusses racism as a white woman and ableism as a person without a disability. I think that perspective from a person of colour or a person with a disability respectively, wouldve given this book the extra insight and diversity it’s missing. I did enjoy it though and it’s of course a very visually pleasing book, and florence uses accessible and noncomplex language. I found the chapter on boundaries quite useful and learned some things about personal laws there, but then the chapter on marriage just felt like she was tearing down any woman who calls themselves a feminist and decided to marry, it felt quite pushy. It is worth the read, would recommend especially to people with more privileges than others as it may be an eye opener. It is a great start for those interested in learning more about feminism and other social issues but i would definitely encourage those reading this book as a starting point to read more feminist writings by writers of different race/class/gender etc afterwards to learn in the most diverse way possible and become further educated, this book should be just the one drop in an ocean of literature that you read - it’s not sufficient education
