Kind of slow for an adventure novel, was kind of boring at several points, but the ending made up for it. I didn't feel a strong connection to any of the characters (not sure if it's because of the writing style or because I just personally couldn't really get into it), but it was still a fun read.

A fable/ a mythology/ a love story. It tiptoed through all of these but never landed. What could have been emotional revelation felt like it was told an uninvolved narrator.
