a book about insufferable people being insufferable - but that’s kind of the point. very introspective, with a focus on the growing pains of adulthood, desire, friendship, love, identity, and the quest for an alternative way of living and being. a little predictable at times, but it was fun to spend some summer days with these characters as they try to sort out (and intellectualise) their problems.
