Un libro sobre un hombre que ama las flores y ama a su vecina. Y lo bonito de conquistar a alguien. Aw. Las ilustraciones de Blake son fabulosas.

2.5 stars. Dahl’s last published book before he died is really more like a short story, and it feels slightly tossed off compared to his many masterpieces. As other reviews note, it’s got its awkward bits that might have been forgivable in a tall tale but feels disingenuous in a stand alone book. On the other hand, Blake’s illustrations are some of his best—large, enveloping, and full of unique perspectives.

Wayyyy too inappropriate to be in a 4th grade classroom.
