I really liked this when I was little, although it would be interesting to see how adult me feels after a reread.

I read this book in middle school, for a class, but I didn't remember it at all. I read it now because I wanted to read Roald Dahl again, and this book was so short I knew it'd be good for my Goodreads goal. I didn't like it as much as I remember liking it the first time around. I might be too old now, but children's books are still fun to read even at my age, so I don't think that was it.
It's also a lot shorter than I remembered, but the writing was good. It was very simple, but for it to be a book for children, that's perfectly acceptable. It was good to read it again now that I've grown up. Roald Dahl was a big part of my childhood, I got that nostalgia reading it again.
