Such a cute little story, I’m really loving Roald Dahl at the moment, his stories are really inspiring me and are just a lovely little welcome break from the adult world.

In my collection of Roald Dahl books, this is a fun and silly little read. I never read Roald Dahl as a child, so reading it as an adult allows me to see things on a deeper level, but I tried to keep my reading lighthearted as I turned the pages. The illustrations are adorable, as always, and allowed me to remember my page when a small child would remove the book from my hand. A much better read-aloud story to children than Giraffe and Pelly and Me. A fun story about manipulating relationships with people you want to be close to in a fun and innocent way.

One of the best Roald Dahl stories and a simple, quick read.

Not a big Dahl fan

Great short story. I just wish it was a bit longer.
