The writing is exceptional! I read it in 24hrs because it was such a pleasure. I would have given 5/5, but I felt a couple of the short stories in the collection dropped off compared to the first 4/5 stories. 

I really enjoyed the reflection of life, almost cautionary tales yet not so at the same time. They were all crafted well and were haunting to say the least! Very glad I read it. If you like immersive writing and weird fiction, definitely give this a read.

I did not personally read the first two stories, as my friend who read it before me said that they both had to do with pregnancy and/or childbirth, which are two very hard nos for me. The third story also involves pregnancy and childbirth, but in not nearly as much detail and personally I was fine reading it. Other than that, I guess the constant in all of the stories is death? So if you aren't in the mood to read about people dying, maybe sit this one out.
