Very mysterious to the point of confusing at times. I think the overall message was the world is screwed but my god we had to go very round about way to get there. People just destroying their lives for very little reward in the end. Odd little book. Longer than it looks.
Got better in the last few pages but not better enough to hanve been worth wading through all that boredom.

I left this book very confused on the motivations of all the characters. Why they did what the did... especially Jane. A lot of her choices confused the hell out of me. The ending was also very anti-climatic. This book was just not for me.

This man LIVES to write weird ass women being weird in weird worlds, and it hits every single time. This one was particularly thriller like compared to his other books, and I liked the fast pace that came with that.
