Very light book that would be enjoyed by the target audience.

It definitely lacked substance and would be enjoyable for readers age 5-10

Read 1 volume

Super cute graphic novel that felt like a mashup of ‘The Amazing World of Gumball’ and ‘Adventure Time’. I love that Almond is the badass! I’m going to hopefully read the rest soon!

I felt like I was watching a TV series, since the graphics flowed extremely well and the expressions and humor were priceless. It reminded me of the show Adventure Time in a variety of ways.

If you need a good laugh and a wonderful adventure, pick this graphic novel up, and remember that heroes come in all shapes and sizes (whether you're a little sister or not...also, stay in school!!).

A really adorable book with great comedic timing and use of visual format for humor. All of the food-themed bunnies are super cute and the colorful, Candyland-esque world was fun to be in and explore. Great middle-grade graphic novel that will be enjoyable for all ages.

The art in this was very cute and was the reason I picked it up. I liked that it satirized the fetch quest trope of many Fantasy books and media. I did not like that the world building felt very derivative of Adventure Time (food-based kingdoms with characters named after food that look kind of like that thing and art that is kind of similar), nor did I like the ridiculous fatphobia towards the ONE fat character in the book. He is a pig, eats everything (including inedible things like furniture), is mocked for enjoying dating sim video games (“ha ha, the fat one thinks he deserves LOVE?!”
