Some of the most beautiful prose I’ve ever read. The most eloquently written book I’ve read on being a queer (Latina!) woman and also the life force behind queer friendships. I couldn’t pick a paragraph to pull from this book because there are simply too many good ones that I will think about forever <3. Also an incredibly down historical fiction piece on Latin American revolution and dictatorship in the late 1900s. 10/10 so impressed would read again a million times. I would definitely read the TWs for SA and suicide before picking this up as both are big themes.

** only giving 4 stars because the end felt a little slow but beautiful book nonetheless
