Ok so the first half of this book was boring I’m not going to lie but then it really picked up and I was hooked! I couldn’t stop listening to it and Jane GOT ME - the last 5 chapters had my heart aching!!!! I really enjoyed this one <3

I can tell why this book is a classic but for me it was mostly a bore.  I had a hard time getting through it.  I read this as an Amazon classic; only the audible edition helped me finish this book, along with watching the Netflix movie.  Perhaps if I have another opportunity to re-read it, I could enjoy the thoughts of Anne.  I always love a good romance story that has a happy ever after but the language was too old and distant for me to keep up with it properly.  Overall, I did not really enjoy this one.
