É apenas incrível.
Preppy é um personagem que a gente subestima nos 4 primeiros livros, mas nesse livro você entende porque ele está sendo o último a ser explorado na série. Ele é especial, a história dele é especial.
E eu já to morrendo de ansiedade por Dezembro, pra parte II, e não tenho pretenção nenhuma de superar essa emoção até que o próximo seja lançado.

Inclusive, acho que vou reler os 4 pra prolongar esse sentimento!

Out of this whole series Preppy is the character I wanted to know the most! I have been looking forward to this book! You just fall in love with him even more! I loved where this story went and can’t wait to read about him in the next book!

I love Preppy...
But a few things just didn't work for me...the back and forth left me more confused than anything else

I'm not going to lie. After meeting Preppy and realizing that he got his own books in this series? Well, it's safe to say that I freaked out. In a good way. Always in a good way. I fell in love with him from the very first moment. He's hilarious and just made me smile.

Besides him, we meet Dre. Wow. So much happened between them and it made me so emotional. Not like tears were flying down my entire face but I was just happy and sad at the same time. Sappy if you will. It was great.

I'll admit that the ending is what got to me. I mean these two were (sort of) broken before they met and I was feeling the vibes of them healing one another. But that ending, that freaking ending, is what got to me the most. That being said, I'm super excited to dive into the next one!

After finishing the book yesterday I can't shake my thoughts on this. A rare occurrence where I'm bothered about why I didn't like the book.

I adore Ms. Frazier and her way with words. How she can make you fall for characters you aren't meant to.

The banter, the steam, the mind fuckery it all works so again the question why didn't I love it, hell even like it?

One of life's unexplainable mysteries? Nah doubt it. Mood dependent? Could be a possibility. All in all I keep coming back to one thing that bothered me. The heroine. She is not my type of heroine. It's not just one thing but the whole package.

Still a big fan.

Series on hold at the moment. Not feeling it at all. Might come back to it you never know.

I have to confess that I read Bear’s books before I read King’s, so I didn’t know Preppy as well, but it didn’t matter. I still fell in love with him in Lawless and Soulless, I didn’t need to read King to fall for him. Preppy is just that powerful of a character, so to say that I was simply excited when it came time for his story to be told, that would be a gross understatement. And Preppy and Ms. Frazier did not let me down. I absolutely loved Preppy Part One and all the other parts.

Dre hasn’t always made the best decisions, but she’s still strong, she’s a fighter, and she doesn’t go easy on Preppy. She’s smart, she’s sassy, and it was impossible not to love her. Dre is sweet and she has a good heart. She is the perfect heroine for our amazing hero and there’s not a thing I would change about her.

I loved Preppy before I officially met him and even more when I did read King and my love only grew when I actually got to be inside his head. Preppy is my favorite kind of hero with his funny, always joking attitude, but has so much depth to him and you know that he would do absolutely anything for someone he loves. Preppy is truly the best of these three men — for me, anyway. He’s dark and dangerous, but he’s also bright and sweet. Preppy is just Preppy — he’s amazing and wonderful and he completely stole my heart and owns it.

Preppy Part One made me laugh, made my heart race, and made my eyes sting with tears. It was only the beginning, but oh, what a beginning it was. It left me wanting more and I just couldn’t get enough of anything. Preppy Part One was beyond fantastic and it’s going to make you eager to pick up Part Two and Three.

Preppy Part One should be read after the first four books in the King series, it’s told from Preppy and Dre’s POV, and Preppy and Dre have aways to go before they get their happily-ever-after.
