I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it. I also realize I’m not a thriller girly. Waiting until the veryyyyyyy end to learn about this world, was annoying. But, I guess that’s what suspense is all about. I will keep reading this series however. Because, I need to know what happens to Ethan and his family. 

Because in this book, it felt like he was falling the. Whole. TIME.

This I'd say I would give 3-4 stars to begin with but it definitely ended on a solid 5 for me. The initial reading through Ethan's recovery and subsequent spiraling could be a bit tough and disorienting at times though it paid off well in the end. Can't wait to get my hands on the next two!

Interesting premise, wasn't executed in a way that kept my attention. Middle section read more like action/adventure than anything, a little too military heavy in character and trope. Some interesting bits starting around 70%. Not sure if I'll try another by this artist, even though I have some bookmarked to try
